Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation

Sports injury, orthopedics and post-surgical recovery.

Musculoskeletal rehabilitation is increasingly driven by diagnostic ultrasound, regenerative interventions, and protocolized post-surgical pathways. The track will cover MSK ultrasound for dynamic joint and tendon assessment and ultrasound-guided interventions, the evolving evidence base for orthobiologics (leukocyte-poor PRP for knee OA and lateral epicondylosis, BMAC, prolotherapy), and ERAS-style protocols after total joint arthroplasty and rotator cuff repair. Sessions will also examine hydrodissection for peripheral nerve entrapments, blood-flow-restriction training in early post-operative loading, and AI-driven movement analysis (DorsaVi, Sparta, markerless 3D motion capture) for return-to-sport criteria.

Focus areas
  • Diagnostic and interventional MSK ultrasound techniques
  • Orthobiologics evidence: PRP, BMAC, prolotherapy, MFAT
  • Blood-flow restriction training in post-surgical loading
  • ERAS pathways after TKA, THA, and rotator cuff repair
  • Hydrodissection for carpal tunnel and peripheral nerve entrapments
  • AI movement analysis and markerless 3D motion capture for RTS
  • Tendinopathy: eccentric loading, percutaneous tenotomy, shockwave
